Hellllooooo everyone!!
It was a super good week. It’s getting closer to Teresa’s baptism and
she is doing awesome. She passed her interview this week and she is
soooooo ready!!! She left to Mexico today for a while, and she was
supposed to leave on Saturday but she told her kids that church is too
important for her so she’s going to leave Monday instead of Saturday.
We were able to find 4 new investigators and in other weeks we weren’t
able to find like any because we were just having a hard time. But we
set a new goal in our last district meeting to find 100 new
investigators before the end of the month, and to my knowledge, we did
it!!! It’s not about the numbers people. These are souls and they are
precious. But it is pretty fun when you reach your goals.
And honestly the rest of the week was the same as every other week.
Although, we fasted as a district on Thursday and maaaaaann fasting is
hard but it’s super good. But like my brain just shuts down when i
fast ๐ I just get stupid. HAHA no just kidding but yeah it’s rough
because we still have to work super hard and we can’t rest as much as
I would like. And then on Sunday we fasted as well. But it was good!
Oh and I had my first lesson at 8 in the morning haha. The guy gets up
super early and since we teach him outside, just cause who knows why.
And it’s not as hot at 8. Like not AS hot, but still hot.
On Wednesday we had exchanges and I was with one of the elders that
came from Nicaragua (there were like 4 missionaries that we got from
there because there’s like a war and it was dangerous). And I was in a
ward that I’ve been in before so I saw some people I knew and it was
awesome. “ the รlder i was with was in a part of Nicaragua that he
spoke some dialect. It’s called mosquito
Well, I love you all! Hope you have a good week ๐

Well, it’s been another week. The time is literally going by so fast
and I love it but hate it at the same time. The mission really does go
by fast and you have to enjoy every moment. And you have to push
through the times you don’t feel like working because you’ll regret it
in the end if you don’t work your hardest. So, for anyone on a misiรณn
or thinking about going or about to go, just work hard. Don’t waste
time. You’ll be so proud of yourself at the end too ๐
So this week was good! We still have people that are close to baptism
(I say that because I’ve been in a number of cases where they back out
or just drop off the face of the earth). Teresa Moreno will for sure
be baptized on the 14 of June. Some ex misioneros are going to come
for her baptism (I served with them for a long time). They already got
the plane tickets and so it’s basically a locked in deal. We always
have very good lessons with her. And yesterday she came to church and
honestly we didn’t know she was there until the second hour ๐ we got
there 15 minutes early like we should have and looked around for her
and other investigators before sacrament meeting started and we didn’t
see her. And then the second hour before we walked into class, we saw
her walking out the the chapel and we were like what the heck we
didn’t even see you!! We were so happy that she was there.
we also had an investigator go who we did not think was going to go!!
We have been working with him for a while and he just didn’t seem to
want to promise us that he was going to go to church. Well, in the
morning we reminded him about church and he showed up!!! He showed up
a little late and so we were surprised when we saw him walk into the
chapel. He stayed for all three hours and he liked it. And then after
church we had a lesson with him and he said the closing prayer. And
his prayer was awesome and I know God was so happy to hear it ๐ in
part of it he was like, “God.. I don’t know what happened.. but I went
to church today. And i liked it!” He told us that in the morning
before church he was in McDonalds and then decided to go to church ๐
so he broke the sabbath day, but God got to him just in time. I was so
happy when he came like you have no idea!!!
We are really seeing some success with the people we’re teaching, but
having a hard time finding new people. We are working hard with
members to give us referrals and have lessons with their friends, and
that has worked out a bit. We have come across a lot of people, but
they are all rejecting us!! But hey, we are doing are part. And that’s
what I should base my success on. Doing what the lord asks, my
attitude, and determination to share the gospel. ๐๐
Well that was my week. I’m exhausted and happy. Hope you all have a great week

Hey everyone!!
It was a good week! Like usual. Just work and more work.
We aren’t having as much success with finding people, but we are
having some people progress towards baptism.
We have Adela Acevedo who is suppppppeer close to baptism. We have
been trying to set a baptismal date and she’s been kind of shaky with
that just because she wants to be sure she is 100% sure and that’s
like definitely understandable. Like duh. But she is totally ready!
She goes to church every Sunday and she accepts everything super
easily. She knows it’s true and will be baptized. I’m super happy for
her cause she has changed so much. Thanks to members who helped us out
with her! They introduced us to her. So members, do your work!!! It’s
the only way I’ve seen success (personally) in my mission.
And then Teresa Moreno has a baptismal date for July 14 and she is so
ready!!! She’s super sweet and knows that this is what she wants. She
knows she needs to be the example for her kids and her grandkids. So
be waiting for that!!
And other than that we just did missionary work. We walked, drove,
talked to people who didn’t want to talk, and visited members to find
referrals. It really was a good week though ๐
Love you all! Have a great week
