Hellloooooo everyone!!!

This week was a good one. Elder Gomez and I have seen little miracles
every day. And we are hoping that we see big miracles soon!

So, this week we were able to find so many new people to teach that
seem truly interested. We will see when we have more lessons. But this
week Elder Gomez and I have been really focusing on staying in tune
with the spirit. And we have been in a few ocasiones where we have
walked up to someone’s house and they walked out right then or
something like that.
We’ve been really focusing on the reason why we are in the places we
are when we are. Because there are many times (sadly) that we will go
to a lesson and they won’t be home. And so when that happens, we try
to figure out why we are there. Now, here in our mission we do not
just knock doors. We were told not to do that because everyone has
basically heard from missionaries and people got annoyed. Well, what
we do do is look through the former investigators and see who is close
around and we go and visit them. So, these past few weeks we’ve been
doing that. Just like I’ve done in times throughout my mission. And we
have found new people to teach and been in the most perfect places in
the right time. Yesterday, it was 8:30 (and we don’t go home before 9.
That’s not diligence) and we decided to go visit an investigator that
wasn’t too far away from where we were. And we decided to walk. Well,
while we were walking we hear “¡Élderes! Qué pasó” from across the
street. And come to find out we had walked up on a brother from the
ward with one of his friends outside talking. His friend was actually
a member, but I know we never would’ve met him if we didn’t go over
there. The member is awesome and he could help us a lot in our work.
Members, for us, are the best way to advance missionary work. And when
we walked up, they were talking about church and the hermano who
called at us from across the street said that he didn’t know exactly
how to answer them. So perfect timing!
These stories aren’t amazing. But they’re cool! Cause it’s definitely
the hand of the lord.
Oh also, a while ago (can’t remember if I told you, but if I did I’ll
tell you again) our bishop called us and wanted us to go to a persons
house that had their records sent to our ward. A person from another
ward had gone by, but when the person answered they couldn’t
communicate because she spoke “some other language”. So we were sent
over there. Well, turns out that the lady who lives there is Hispanic
and the family whose records were sent to our ward does not live
there. But the lady, whose name is Kenya is now a new investigator and
she seemed so interested.

It’s getting hot here now. It has gotten up to 108. It’ll keep getting
hotter!! But I actually don’t mind it. Weird.

Hope you enjoy this email hahahaha. I don’t really know if I made
sense but yeah. Love you all!!
