Hey everyone!!!!

So this week was eventful!!! I feel like we did so much. And I’m super
tired. But I feel accomplished.

So earlier this week it was just normal. Until Wednesday. I got a call
to give a talk in sacrament meeting!! It wasn’t a big deal. I just
didn’t want to prepare it honestly 😂 the subject was “cómo prepararse
para la conferencia general” (how to prepare for general conference).
It was actually a little hard to find out what to talk about for 15
minutes about that. But I did it! I got creative with it. And
something cool happened! So, I still get a little nervous when I talk
in front a lot of people (the Valencia ward is huge) because it’s just
public speaking. I mean it’s not my favorite thing. But I’m totally
willing to do it! And it’s kind of fun actually. Idk it’s weird how
that works. But anyways, I prayed beforehand and I just asked Heavenly
Father if he would help me not be nervous because I don’t like being
nervous. And it was just so cool how while I was sitting down waiting
to talk I was nervous (like usual) but as soon as I stood up and
walked up to the pulpit I just got super calm! And I was able to give
a super good talk. I think. It’s not like a super miraculous thing.
But God listens and he answers our prayers! Doesn’t matter how small
it is.

Also on Saturday two kids that I taught in my past area got baptized!!
I didn’t baptize them but I’m counting them as my baptism too. Even
though I got moved out of the area. We went to the baptism and we got
to do the “halftime show”. That’s what we call it. It’s just a short
presentation after the baptism while everyone gets changed back into
their nice clothes. And I actually liked doing that. But we taught the
message of the restoration in like 10 minutes and it went super well
(keep in mind all of this stuff was in Spanish).

And then in two weeks we will have a baptism of a little kid named
Julian! Élder Ghormley is going to baptize him and I’m going to
confirm him in sacrament meeting the day after. I’m super excited for
that!!

And we have 3 people on baptismal date that will be baptized on the
28th of April. They’re three little kids. They love going to church!
They’ve gone a good 4 times and they love it. They already have so
many friends. And the ward also bought them some really nice church
clothes. The ward is so supportive!!!

On Saturday we went to the Easter pageant!!!! It was in Spanish. I’ve
never seen it in English. But it was amazing. Definitely recommend.
And before that we had this thing that we called “La Entrada” and it’s
where all the Spanish wards/branches in the area get together in the
park next to the visitors center (pioneer park) and they just all
bring and cook food and we eat for a few hours before the pageant.
We had an investigator and his children show up and watch it with us.
They loved it. And it was super cool because his little boy is
hyperactive but during the whole play he was just sitting there super
still and watching!!

Well that was my exciting week!! I hope you guys had a good one. Love you all

Hey everyone!! This week was a good one! It felt fast but long at the
same time. But today is P day because we went to the temple. We did
sealings again because we were a little pressed for time. I love going
to the temple. It’s so peaceful.

This week was just a hard work week. On Thursday we had zone
conference. And it was awesome because it was the first zone
conference as a Spanish zone. It was really beneficial for us. We
talked about how we can better teach the restoration. I learned some
really good things! And I thought, “wow, why didn’t we have this
training like a year and a half ago hahahaha.” And we also got talked
about nutrition. A doctor came in (he’s the one with a slide in his
house if you remember that) and talked to us about how we could eat
better to have more energy. I was like AMEN cause I never have energy
and I would love your tips! So he told us that milk, juice, and
basically everything good is bad. What a shame. But I’m going to take
his counsel so I can work harder and not just feel like I’m dying all
the time!

The work here is good. Like I’ve said, it’s such a good ward. And
investigators are coming to church, we are finding a lot of new
investigators (like usual. That’s the easy part for us here), and it
looks like in these next few months people are going to get baptized!!
Everyone pray that things turn out well!

I’ve also been super good at getting up and working out! You know what
they told us about exercise?! It makes you happier!! It releases some
type of chemical and it makes you happy. But fact of the day. I take
exercising seriously. Gotta be serious when it comes to 6 months to
sexy am I right?
I’ve noticed that I’ve had more energy when I have done exercise.

I remember my brother saying, when he got back from his mission, that
he was excited to be physically tired and not mentally. And I was like
????? .... but yeah i totally get it now. Being physically tired would
be a change.
But another thing, is that this work is super accomplishing. If you
try to be 100 obedient and do your best, even though you’re completely
exhausted, you feel so good at the end of the same. There ain’t nothin
like savin lives am I right

I hope you guys have a fantastic week and that you have energy. Love you all!!

Wow another week has gone by!! Just like all the others it went by super fast!!

This week was a good working week. We didn’t find anybody new to
teach, but the people we are teaching are actually now getting
interested! Things are moving along and it’s awesome. We are hoping to
have a baptism this month because we have an investigator that
literally has been going to church for years I believe and she’s
basically a member. She goes to all the activities and everything,
just hasn’t gone through one of the most important part yet. We got
faith!!! How about you?!

We also went to a lesson last night with this older lady named Angie
and it was HILARIOUS! We asked her to say the opening prayer and she
was just like uuhhh no I can’t I don’t know how and then all of a
sudden she starts praying so it could us off guard. And then in the
prayer she called us “kids” and she started laughing because we aren’t
kids. But the laugh was sooooo fake! It was as if she had the laugh
inserted and she just laughed because she needed to. It was so funny
😂😂😂 and the way she acted was so funny. She was just like a little
girl and I was laughing like the whole time 😂

I am literally so tired. Like, so tired. I don’t think you guys
understand. I’m mentally tired. It’s not physical whatsoever. But, I
was so tired on Saturday night after we had correlación and my eyes
would not focus. They just didn’t want to! They were quitting on me!
But now I have more energy and after this P day I’m about to be
RECHARGED!

Oh yeah! So we had transfers again and I just stayed in the area. But,
we are now in a Spanish zone. So allllll of the Spanish missionaries
in the mission are in their own zone. It’s awesome! We are playing
soccer as a zone and now we’re going to have all of our district
meetings in Spanish and our zone conferences will just be us as a
zone. So the zone conferences will actually be small because multiple
zones come to zone conference, but as we are only one zone there will
only be like 20 something of us there hahaha. I’m super excited.

I’ve also been working out super hard. 30 seems like forever to me now
and I thought it wasn’t enough time when I started my mission!
Hahahaha mission changes ya. I’m doing my “6 month to sexy” so I’m
getting JACKED. Kinda.

Well that’s how my week went! I’m super happy and loving life! Always
smiling and laughing
Love you all. Be happy
